New Smyrna Beach Film Week  Nov 6 & 7

New Smyrna Beach Events:

Superheroes, Dinosaurs, Princesses, the ideas of Tomorrow will be front and center all weekend in New Smyrna Beach as the town hosts a two-day film festival held entirely on the beach. The showcased movies include:

Disney’s Cinderella, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jurassic World, and Disney’s Tomorrowland.

All of the films are free and start at 7:00pm each evening. Though the movies will be held on the beach, they are located adjacent to beach front business to ensure accessibility to facilities, concessions and direct access to the beach. These “host” locations are Toni and Joe’s Patio located at 309 Buenos Aires Avenue and Sea Vista Tiki Bar located at 1701 South Atlantic Avenue. New Smyrna Beach

The New Smyrna Beach Beach Film Festival is part of Fall Beach Weeks in New Smyrna Beach – 40 days of festivals in nine weeks from September through November.  The campaign is designed to showcase New Smyrna Beach during autumn and increase its appeal as an off-season vacation destination. CANAL STREET ART STROLL  NOV 7TH 10:00 – 4PM

New Smyrna Beach Monthly Event:

Artistic vendors set up along the historic Canal street from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Musical artists play from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Christmas Park, 101 Live Oak Street. Galleries feature solo and group exhibitions and artist talks in the Douglas Avenue area of the district and at the Hub from 4-8 p.m. Admission is free. VETERAN DAY CEREMONY

The City of Port Orange will hold their annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony on November 11 at 10:00 a.m. located at the City Center Veteran’s Park.

The VFW Post 3282 will host the ceremony, which will feature a display of colors, speeches and a 21 gun salute.

Stroll up and down Flagler Avenue and treat yourself to pre-holiday sales.

 


The 25th annual Flamingo Follies Holiday Art Show will be held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., November 14-15 along Flagler Avenue.

More than 120 artists and crafters from around the state will display their work. Artists, entertainment and food vendors will line the Avenue.

Admission is free.

MAYBE YOUR PREFER CANAL STREET ON
NOVEMBER 14TH
Classic Car Show with East Coast Cruisers from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.  The city closes off the street to all vehicle traffic with the exception of the Classic Cars themselves. This is an awesome event for the whole family to enjoy, there is food, a D.J. and most of the merchants are open for business during the event. Second Saturday of every month .
